Learn the triggers of each enneagram type so you can grow and work on yours and so you can love others better.

We all have our triggers. Each enneagram type will be triggered into stress or conflict because of different things because each type has its own core motivation

Why It’s Important To Know Our Own Triggers

If we identify what triggers us, we can use that to help us become more self-aware and better equipped to manage ourselves.

Why It’s Important To Know The Triggers Of The Other Types

If we take the time to learn what triggers other types, then we can try to help them out by trying to avoid triggering them. It’s a loving thing to do.

Do they need to do their own growth work so that these things don’t get under their skin? You bet!

But we can also love them by not doing things they don’t like…because let’s be honest, don’t you want others to do the same for you?

Note: the triggers listed below are common for those types but they are not limited to those types.
Ex: a type 1 can be triggered by rule breaking but so could any type… BUT they core motivation behind it will be different for each type…

Such as a type 1 will be triggered by rule breaking because things aren’t “right” or ethical if rules are broken, but a 6 will be triggered by rule breaking because then things aren’t secure, safe, or puts loyalty in jeopardy.
